Orthopaedic care and specialty procedures
As a dual fellow-trained orthopedic surgeon I perform surgeries involving both adult reconstruction and orthopedic traumatology.
My elective surgical practice is centered mainly around total hip and knee arthroplasty also known more commonly as joint replacement surgery. I perform both primary and revision hip and knee replacement as well as partial knee replacement surgery. I also perform surgeries on adolescent and young adult patients to correct hip deformities that may predispose them to early on set arthritis. These surgeries include periacetabular osteotomies and surgical hip dislocations to help correct these deformities so that arthritis does not ensue early in life.
My practice is predominantly based out of the UCLA Orthopaedic Hospital and Medical Center in Santa Monica, but I also perform selected joint replacements in our outpatient surgery center for patients who are candidates for outpatient joint replacement. With respect to orthopaedic trauma, I take level one trauma call at Ronald Reagan Hospital in Westwood.
